Boonen blew it for Chavanel. I know he's a Flandrian but he's been quoted as saying he knew on the Volkenberg climb he didn't have the legs to win and yet Chavanel was still prevented by team orders from working with Cancellara. Nuyens was a lucky boy indeed - not an authentic winner IMHO.
