Silicone leg grippers on bibs.

Does anyone else have problems with silicone leg grippers on bibs staying in place when you're wearing knee warmers? They're fine on bare skin but always ride up on me if I'm in warmers.

Does anyone have any work around for them to make them stay?

And tangential to the original question, why did the industry switch from the old leg grippers? They worked just fine. My guess is they just seem fancier.

Put the warmers on top of the shorts so the grippers are still in contact with your skin.
