Chris King

Anyone seen the new Chris king road hub? Lighter, and supposedly quieter. A nice alternative to the 240 dt offering.

I have one coming in for a new build - supposed to be about the first in pewter to be available - these have been long delayed. For a phenomenal hub review that includes these, go to the Fairwheel Bikes forum (also linked in to weightweenies).

They look cheap compared to their siblings atmo. Still great quality (first set I touched had bad bearings already though) just a little harsh on the ol' eyes.

I just built a wheel around one. MUCH simplier but still way more complicated than just about every hub out there. I still think the best hubs are shimano(7900/6700/5600) and Record.
