Get an Old Atlanta repainted?

Considering having an old sentimental Atlanta refurbished/repainted. Anyone had this done? Do you think it is worth it? Have a Legend Ti that I have been riding in the meantime, but an old favorite could use a little work.

It is really a personal choice....from a financial view we never get our money back but it really comes down to "Does it put a smile on your face when you ride it". I have had my CR repainted for I still enjoy the ride and the way I feel when I am on it. I have a good friend who had his 10 year old frame repainted by Joe Bell with pinstripes and panels. When I see him get on it, he always has that big smile and keeps saying how much he enjoys being on it.

There are many places to have it painted,,,,Serotta, Joe Bell, Tom Kellogg, Spectrum Powder coat, etc.... The paint jobs run from around 500 to over 1000 depending on what you wish.....

It will come back looking new,,,,,,You should also be using "frame saver" when you rebuild it.....

Let us know how you proceed and the LEGEND is a wonderful fall back ride,,,

I did it, and I'm happy with the results.
