Kings of ornate lugwork
I'm trying to describe for a friend, the incredible things that can be done with lugs by builders with a love for that. I know of some of the most infamous fancy lug people, many of them maybe reading this. Id like to put a more complete list together. If you all wouldn't mind helping, I'd appreciate it.
Here' the list as it stands now, but I know I'm missing the better part of it: Ahearne (http://www.ahearnecycles.com/) Alex Singer (http://www.cycles-alex-singer.fr/) Art stump Bates Bilenky (http://www.bilenky.com/Home_.html) Bob Brown (http://www.bobbrowncycles.com/) Bob Jackson (http://www.bobjacksoncycles.co.uk/default.php) Bohemian/ Dave Bohm (www.bohemianbicycles.com) Brian Baylis (http://www.classicrendezvous.com/USA/Baylis_main.htm) Bruce Gordon (http://www.bgcycles.com/) Chris Kvale (http://www.chriskvalecycles.com/home.html) Colnago (the lugs shaped like Italy) Columbine (http://www.columbinecycle.com/) Condor (http://www.condorcycles.com/) Coppi (the top end one) Curt Goodrich (www.curtgoodrich.com/) Cycles for Heroes (fixieinc.com) Dawes Dennis Kilfoy (http://denniskilfoy.com/custom.htm) Doug Fattic (269-684-6761) Ellis Cycles/Dave Wages (http://www.elliscycles.com) Ephgrave ( http://www.classicrendezvous.com/Br...es/Ephgrave.htm) Glenn Erickson (http://www.sandsmachine.com/a_eri_r2.htm) Hetchins (www.hetchins.com/) Hobbs Holdsworth (older top line models. There's another guy who posts here and does some great lugs. His stuff is well liked. I gotta dig around the gallery I think.

Kent Erickson builds a great bike and is a maestro with the tig but I've never seen him build with lugs.
