fine silver setback post at Wallbike for not too much dough

just got one of these for a project bike. the bike needed a 26.0 post which are not so easy to find. this one looks really quite good and is available in many sizes - silver to boot. nice setback too for those Brooks.

looks better in person than in the photo.

the only place in the blogosphere i could find it.

I used one of those seatpost on an older Specialized bike I have. Nice looking, strong, and light weight. The only problem I had was it's tendancy to slip. I never figured out if it was the frame or the post's fault. I ended up roughing up the clamping surface and the corresponding area on the seatpost with emery cloth.

Wallbike is a good operation ..

Along with the Kalloy, they also carry lovely - if somewhat more expensive - seat posts by CLB. Again one of the only places you can find them.
