want to find a bike tour of Napa

I am looking to do 2 days of bike touring of Napa which should include at least 1 good winery tour. The group I ride with usually hold 18-20 on the flats. I live in NY. I would like to do this in October.

please recommend who to call, and I welcome to hear about your past experiences.

Also I need some advice on shipping my Concours for this ride

I used to live in Vacaville, just over the hills from Napa, and while the wine tour thing is nice, you don’t necessarily need it. A road called the Silverado Trail runs up the whole east side of the valley, as opposed to the highway that hugs the west side that ends up with all the tipsy wine taster drivers. Go to the NE corner of Napa where Silverado Trail starts and just follow it up to St. Helena. Great road, little traffic (at least, when I lived there 15 years ago) and there are several side roads that leas to little community in the hills if you want some climbing. Another killer climb is to follow ST as it continues up the flank of Mt. St. Helena and over the shoulder toward Lakeport. But beware there is little shoulder on that stretch (or at least there was 15 years ago!)
