On Topic: Ice Cream

So I'm below 1,800 calories a day. From 202lbs and fit to 182lbs and eye of the tigerish, Apollo Creed etc. Handsomerob spoke of ice cream last week and I can't get it out of my head. Ice cream, I can't quit you. I miss you. Do you miss me? What are your thoughts, feelings and ideas regarding ice cream?

On my 40'th birthday the Harvard women's team took me on a tour of the north short in search of 40 scoops of ice cream, a few town line sprints and a late night drunken crit. This year the goal is to ride to all three Kimbal's ice cream stands for a large, in one day. Here's the catch, a Kimbal's large is about the size of your average car wash, and the third Kimbal's is about 50 miles from the first one in Dublin NH. Thanks to my training plan and a very strict junk food diet I ride better on ice cream than I do on power bars or GU - yuch!!!

Vanilla softserve from DQ on Friday nites as a reward for sticking to the diet during the previous week.

Mint chocolate chip comes in a close second, but I only get that during the summer when I'm riding lotsa miles.

One spoon. One half gallon of quality chocolate. Half gallon of milk. One man, one dream, it can be done, it has been done and by God, thy will be done!

(i can eat a half gallon in one sitting, never biked afterwards, usually passed out though).

My biggest vice/downfall could be ice cream.

Favorite flavor: Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip either Richardson's (local) or Ben & Jerry's (no longer local).

i havent had ice cream in awhile

although i just met some young chick so maybe ice cream will be back on the menu!
