On our after ride discussion today at Brugger's the topic of where you keep your bike came up. Garage, in the house, in the living room, etc...

My Kirk stays in the living room with a nice view of the fireplace. (If I had a Sachs, that's where it would be too)
(There's an ulterior reasoning. The bike room is in the basement and it's sort of a narrow/short stairway...so it's a pain to take the bike downstairs. This way I can just roll out the front door.) And I can't leave it outside...there's a batch of kids who run a bike chop shop in the area...

If you scratch them, you've bought them. Isn't that the rule?

Actually, what richard posted was the beginning of a post-race cleansing ritual. The team Subaru, diven by the lovely Deb, is about to back up over those bikes, and new ones will be presented in another ritual. Why do you think the wait is six years? It's so ritualized. |

Physically, under lock and key in a locked garage.
Emotionally, right behind my wife and kid...but definitely in front of the cat. |
