SPOILERS - TDF Femmes Avec Swift

I'm watching on Peacock. Commentators are Anthony McCrossan and a former woman pro who I have not been above to identify. Improvement over the Men's TDF commentation for sure

Charlotte Kool wins first two stages, and great riding at the end of today's stage as she threaded up and then squeezed past Vos. Wiebes did a Jasper and crossed in front of Vos but Kool's surge was amazing and she nipped Wiebes by several inches to remain in yellow.

Right now they're in the second stage of the day, a 6.3km ITT. Grace Brown looked really fast but flatted, still ended up with a decent time.

It's my understanding that the riders hate it, but as a fan, 2 races in a day is awesome.

Chloe rode a 7:30 and currently sits in the top spot by fractions of a second.

And Demi Vollering takes the top spot by 5 seconds!

Like Vingegaard last year in the '23 TDF, Demi pedals through the corners while others coast.

And Demi surprises herself on her home turf and wins the stage, and takes the yellow jersey!
She said she was relaxed between the two stages today and took two power naps

Good to see Kool finally come into her own. SDworx might have thought they would win all the stages but nope. Hoping to see DV challenged in the mountains.

What fans want = long term audience growth. Which is good for riders.

Muzic has beaten her - who else in the lineup?
I'd love to see Faulkner do well!

That big bumpy roundabout in today's TT, where they were cornering across a lot of train tracks. Yuck. Glad it wasn't raining.

Stage 4 has wet roads. Chloe Dygert seems to have had a minor crash and once back up has a wobble from overcooking a corner. Stay vertical, Chloe, rubber side down!

Woah! A train crossing has stopped the peleton! The commissar takes times and restarts the riders accordingly.
