Campy Bottom Bracket Length Question

Q1: Wil my NOS 2003 (i.e. square taper) Chorus Double crankset require a 111 BB spindle length or a 102 BB? (No funky chainstays on this frame, but ST OD is greater than 1.125" / 28.6mm.)

Q2: Is there any reason I can't use my Veloce BB (already in my parts bin), assuming that it's the right length?

I sometimes see Veloce 111's listed as double, (and triple for 28.6 OD seat tubes) and I see Chorus 102's listed as double. I'd like to use my Veloce 111 with the Chorus double if I can.

Thanks
Louis

It is a 102mm. You can also get a 102 from Phil Wood that is very nice.

you should use the 102 for campy doubles, unless it is Centaur or below. Using the 111 will really mess with your chainline.
