Did I get what I ordered?

Found what looked like a great deal on Vittoria Pave CG tubulars, with the green stripe. Listed as 700c 27c, but they don't even come close to clearing the calipers. The tire label says '30-28"' (see photo below), so I'm unsure if they sent the wrong ones, the product was misrepresented on the site, or I'm just clueless about the myriad models. Before I decide on return or posting a WTT, thought I'd check with more knowledgeable folk. Thanks.

in vittoria speak, that is a 30mm 700c tire. the 28 is their nomenclature for 700c.

similar to here, where this is a 23mm tire, again, 700c

As Angry said. But I wasn't aware they made 30mm in the Pave's?

Thanks Nick. That means they sent me the wrong product, a 30mm, when what was listed was 27c, yes? ** EDIT: I was typing this when someone else answered above, thanks **

Dang…thanks all.

I've inquired about return process, but if anyone reading this is drooling over 30mm Paves and would like to either buy them or offer something more narrow and relatively equivalent in trade, give me a shout.

Why not just keep them? Or did you say they don't fit w/i your brake calipers?

That's curious. I don't ever recall seeing anything from Vittoria about making Paves in 30mm. At one point they went to 28s from 27s but I thought 30s only came out when they did the Corsa and then the Pave replacement Corsa Control.... And yes, they do sound like a dream! If I wasn't so happy with my Veloflex Vlaanderens, didn't have several still hanging, and didn't care about matching my tan sidewalls these could be a wonderful ride....

Yeah, they sound like a dream to me, too, but…not even close. Not even fully inflated (in case the picture's not clear, the wheel won't even turn)

That's nothing a good file or dremel won't cure.

You know, a real Paceliner would use this as justification for a new bike.

I got a couple of bikes that will fit the tires nicely, one of which is the Rivendell Road Standard but alas, I had been on a self-imposed bike spending moratorium for the last 6 months...

I did order a dozen of the 27mm black version cg paves before the lockdown but with the shipping, it's probably not worth the trouble.
