Looks like automakers are starting to see transportation beyond the automobile!

Thanks, I didn't see that before. I had to leave a comment where someone suggested San Francisco was to hilly for bike share programs.

Hope they throw some motors in those things. The Seattle bike share has been struggling mightily... for a number of reasons, but the hills certainly are a factor.

the bikes Ford provides aren't complicated enough to fail. the program won't survive without the horror stories. adding motors to them might help.

The bikes need this. Not a conventional motor. Read about this "smart rear wheel". Adds power when you pedal....captures braking power.
