ROADid sale

All ROADID's on sale currently. If there is any interest, can you please use my link.

https://RoadID.com/invite/4JV4K-TAF2QXXF9BR and it should knock off another $5

just as an FYI to everyone, I wrapped my bacon around a car on friday before our Canadian Thanksgiving. 4 bruised ribs yadda yadda, I only carry my phone with CC/license/bank card in it, but always have my ID on my wrist. Came in handy with the ambulance attendant and at the nursing station as mine has my health card # and my wife's contact info as well as "NO MED HISTORY" they had not seen many of these and liked the fact that as a cyclist I wore one.

I mentioned it to ROADid and they put up my testimonial. As a nice bonus, they offered me a lifetime replacement of the front plate any time I needed one for using my testimonial.

As a side note, I wrote the same letter to GIRO thanking them for making a product that saved my head. Have not even heard a reply.

so use it, get it. Worked for me. and my kids will have one when they get a bit older.

fwiw, Giro have a solid crash replacement policy. have a friend that's had to use it like four times now (crit racer). I think it's something like half off the replacement helmet. so you should hear something, or maybe you didn't use the right contact?

glad you're OK and that your crash wasn't more serious! and I agree those RoadID's are awesome. been wearing one ever since I started riding, basically.

unfortunately the helmet was out of the 5 year range, but to just hear back from them and say thanks, ...thankfully I can still ride.

Appreciate the kind words

Giro's replacement in Canada is basically cost price from the distributor, OGC. They tried to pawn off a closeout helmet on me earlier this year. Can't chose the color. No thanks.

Glad you're doing ok, I've had my medicare# on my id but after almost losing it mid-ride this year I was just thinking of having a new ID made without it. Not that 100 permutations is difficult to guess. (The last two digits of Quebec's medicare card) Anyway thanks for the link, I'll re-up tonight. One of my contacts changed their phone # :P

And here I always thought that you Scots were known for being thrifty!!!

Sorry, I mis-typed earlier. The links were/are apparently for $5 off, not 5%. So $5 off on $20 = 25% savings. That's a significant difference, especially for those of us who live in the "not currently full-time employed and essential expenses paid" sector of the population.

Or, in other words, "A dollar saved on a Road ID is a dollar saved towards a future thrifty scots-heritage oldspud wheelset." Right?

Better?

New sale code

If anybody needs a working $5 off link, RoadID just sent me one that you can use.

The $5 off sale ends at midnight Friday, Nov. 18 though, so not much time left.

Here's the code:
