Enve Compact + Campy 11 levers? - fitting advice needed

I recently replaced my handlebars from EDGE standard drop bar to an ENVE compact and didn't quite get the position right on the first try--the top of the plastic housing seems to protrude more than I want making for a bump at the transition between shifter and handlebar.

I went to try again last night and got frustrated because it felt like no matter where I put it on the mounting area, the housing was pretty pronounced. At one point I discovered the mounting rings were on with the arrow facing down and it should be up. I thought that would fix the mounting position but it doesn't seem to have made much of a difference.

Does anyone have ENVE compact bars with 11-speed ergopower levers? Can you take pictures of your bars, and maybe pull the hood back a bit for a better look? I'm not sure if this is just a function of the steep drop angle at the mounting area or if I'm just not nailing it.
