Bontrager bars

Anyone have experience with the new Bontrager Race xxx Lite VR road bars? I like the shallow drops and they come highly regarded, but the price - ouch!

I've got the race x lite os bars on one bike and really like them. The transition from hoods is level and the reach is short, which works for me. The VR bars have a slightly longer reach (75 vs 85) but appear to have the level transition. ebay can be a good source....

I'm not crazy about the wide, square tops. I much prefer the Modelo Curvisama CX bars shape. I use or have used niether though, I like the deeper drop of the ITM Millinium Carbons better. Both are still expensive.

My favorite bars are a pair of take-offs I picked up out of a pile at a local bike shop. Unfortunately I have no idea who makes them, because I wet sanded & painted them to clean up the scratches from their removal. The mystery bars.
