I didn't know Serottas used to be made in "Sarasota, NY".

I have a 1991 Colorado II and it is the best bike I have ever ridden. It is my go to ride since I picked it up a few years ago.

Cool to see the bike I built so many years ago being preserved and protected. man that paint was bright.

Cool indeed!
I've got a Lemond (GL) Coors Light replica team bike with the saddle post stuck in it right now in the shop. They are having a tough time with that one I think mine is an '89 and that paint is a bit more subdued in blue and white. |

I love that paint, love the bike, love everything about it! I've always wanted one of those Coor's Light bikes in particular. Way cool!

Nice video...Nice bike.
The racing team comment at the end is classic--"We just want Scott to keep going until he falls off his bike" |

ride 'em
while I applaud their willingness to "curate" (whatever that means) a collection, I'd much rather people out riding those bikes rather than sitting in a museum setting.
Have always wanted one of those frames but never seen one for sale in a 58-60. |

That whole Museum Series on the Pro's Closet's YouTube channel is worth the watch. Cool stuff!

That doesn't look like a Selle Italia seat. Cool vid.

If only he showed that much personality on the TdF telecasts.
Cool bike. Nice work, Dave Kirk! |

Tai, I think you are correct: CL rode San Marco saddles. The team bike in the 1991 catalog has a Regal mounted. |

I rode Greg Oravetz's bike CL Serotta for a dozen or so miles because he wanted to ride my Litespeed. Nice solid feeling bike with a decent dent in the top tube. Decent guy too, great war stories from the Euro peloton.
