Interesting bike sighting in Denver
A buddy sent me this photo of a bike he saw in Denver. Continuous double top tube turning into seatstays. He thought it was built by Carl Strong but I've never seen anything quite like it.

That is different, no idea as to it's maker unfortunately.

Hmmm . . . given the Denver location, maybe a Moonmen prototype?
Although I'm certain it isn't one, it looks more than a little bit like a Giant Via, but the details don't match up. (Hope I didn't just offend the actual builder!) Try as I may, I just can't quite ID the one in the OP. But there have been many split top tube designs, including: Ahearne Victoria Cycles And, of course, pretty much everything Budnitz does There are lots more examples, but my two current personal favorites of that genre are this beauty out of Denmark . . . . . . and the new Moonmen bikes. |

Winner! Thanks - I knew I had seen it somewhere along the way, and that was it.

Well done and thanks!
That beauty out of Denmark is special, very cool stem. I would love to see more. It got me thinking, why not continue the theme and curve the down tubes just above the BB shell and on into chain stays.
