When my wife told me that her mother would set out on the counter her cooking supplies for that night's dinner. A blue ceramic casserole was the hint that tuna casserole would be served that night. She'd feign sickness every Tuesday just before dinner. 30+ years later, she found one on ebay and served it to her unamused mother.
