Motopeds

Anyone here heard about this or own one by any chance. I would like to hear peeps opinions. Sounds and look like it's a lot of fun.

one question: why?

it's a moped. pretty fun for a little while, but...for $2K?
  • pedaling a bike that weighs a ton more than an MTB.
  • riding a moto with a fraction of the power of an enduro/mx.

fun to build if you have a bunch of parts lying around you want to make work together or for a kid in high-school wanting to tear up some trails, but nothing i'd want to actually buy or more importantly ride.

its a moped.

ps. i saw something similar a couple years ago...but it was a downhill-esque frame with a real engine & gearbox & suspension. basically a really lightweight enduro/mx bike, now THAT i would get a kick out of.
