Syntace F99 stem recall

http://www.velonews.com/pr/prn/articles/9413.0.html

Stupid-light at 100 grams, though "no incidents or injuries have been reported."

I must be a fan....

I thought it was very responsible and showed great public service. After reading why they are doing it I bought one....

Any company that thoroughly tests its products and decides to voluntarily recall previous products because they have found improved production methods or research I think deserves respect. They could have just made the improvements after the new testing and done nothing.

Thanks for posting that!

I have that stem on my bike. Time to give Syntace a call for a replacement.
