Is there anything wrong with this year model?

Some reports of the head coming "unglued" from the shaft.

They also changed the weave at some point. The earliest ones have a
90' weave pattern, and the later ones have a more multidirectional
layup, (in the cosmetic layer anyway) It's possible to crack a carbon
post with the seat lug interface. Check the torque rating, and make
sure the inside diameter of the seat tube is all good.
I wouldn't personally buy a used carbon post, since who knows where it's been.

this is for a NOS post - totalcycling has them for a good price.

I was just thinking about it - probably wont get one.

I think E-richie had one come loose. I have about 3 of them in service,
no problems.

I've ordered from Totalcycling.com before. They are in Ireland, and the
shipping to north america was kinda expensive. I also got hit with duty on
a Jersey, but that was to Canada, so may not apply to you.
