Generally not, but a bike I am considering reminds my of Porsche's Minerva blue. If I bring her home, she will be called, you guessed, it Minerva.

I like the idea of posting a picture of a bike on the forum and we'll throw out names for it.

Not sure what I'll call my new bike.... lots of ideas though. Will have to ride it first.

I was actually thinking "90" or "interstate" or something like that. I met Dave on a cross country trip from Boston to Seattle along interstate 90. Also, the colors are loosely (among other things) inspired by the interstate shield.

I like "I-90," personally.

I've never named my dogs, I'm not about naming my bikes.

No. I like bikes, but can't say that I form that personal a relationship with them. I enjoy riding, and it's a fun passtime, but a bike's just a bike, hence no name.

When my wife asks which bike I'm going to ride, I tell her "the white bike". All my bikes are white.

The builders of my bikes named them. Serotta, Pacenti, Look, Zanconato, Hampsten. I can't do better than they did.
