How do you get on?

Possibly a very strange question, but how do you get on your bike? Which type are you:

Swing a leg over, straddle it, clip in with a foot and push off;

Stand on a pedal, push off, and swing a leg over;

"Cross mount (walk/run along side, jump, throw a leg over)...or:

other?

Why?

I'm pretty comfortable with the first and third. But the second one just does't feel right for some reason.

2nd for me. It's quicker than the 1st, I'm always late, and I'm not coordinated enough for the 3rd.

Mostly 1.
Sometimes 3 on my CX bike, but never on my road bikes due to Keo cleats...talk about looking like a dork.
Rarely 2, due to being told during my formulative racing years that this could possibly damage a wheel.

Both 1 and 3...one on a normal ride, 3 in a race.

Interesting timing. I asked this same question on a local board last week after watching someone instruct a newby to mount by clipping in the left foot and swinging a leg over. I haven't done that since getting my first pair of Look pedals in the mid 80's. I'd think the angle of the ankle would be really awkward. I straddle and clip.

I would fall if I tried the other options.

I run and jump on to the saddle from the rear and grab the handle bars. This gets the bike rolling along and I have a lot of time to get my feet in the stirrups...I mean pedals.

#2 since I was about 5 years old, and that was a while ago, before men walked on the moon. Hard habit to break, even with clipless pedals. I dismount in reverse, swing leg then stop and unclip left foot. Helps that I use Speedplay.

If I had regular platform pedals, I'd do 2 more often. Don't really do it much with my speedplays. Just straddle first, clip, then go.
