Recommend a Cycling Clothing Repair Person?

Anyone have any suggestions for a seamstress/person who repairs tears in cycling clothing? Today on our ride one of our group went down. Luckily he had no major injuries, but he scraped up his left elbow and knee, resulting in holes in his Assos jacket and tights. Someone local in Northern NJ, or who accepts repair work by mail would be great. Thanks in advance.

I believe Katherine at Col d'Lizard will also do repairs, and for very reasonable prices. I had her change all my partial zip jerseys to full zip and they came back perfect (by mail). Of course that's a modification but I'm sure she will repair also.

The Kucharik recommendation is another good possibility.

Assos will repair them.

I sent some bibs in with a small tear near a seam and they sent me a new pair.

I then bought another pair... Great service resulted in another sale and some good word-of-mouth advertising.

They won't exchange every garment for new but will repair or replace for the original owner. I took mine back to my LBS and they sent and received so I didn't even have shipping.

There may be instructions on their website as well.
