I thought it was a Prius. Also is that an empty latte cup in the back seat? 😂

The Volvo photo reminds me that we need to resolve travelling issues with Bruno. We started the bad habit of letting him sit with us and now he stands on the back seat with his front paws on the armrests - head right beside us. It’s pretty adorable and you get an unexpected facelick every once in a while, but in an accident, we are both in trouble.
If we put him in back of the Subaru, he just jumps over immediately, so we need a gate, but after over a year of no discipline, I suspect all we will hear is barking! |

The first time I put our first Bouv, Stella, into the back of my Audi Allroad, with the barrier up, by the time I closed the hatch and was about to get in she was already sitting in the driver's seat. Over time she grudgingly accepted that she had to sit in the back seat, but the way back was a complete non-starter.

Poodle-doodle
My 2 year old F1B labradoodle. He was an accident dog form the eastern shore of MD. Dad is a standard poodle from France that is a duck retriever in the bay. Mom is a labradoodle. Poodle is an escape artist once he gets that smell from down the road.
75 pounds of love and fluff, does not stink and no dog hair all over the place. Loves long hikes and the dog parks. |

Couldn't fit the Newf in the same photo with the rest of the pack...
Actually lost him about a year ago, still in mourning. My buddy. I like the giant breeds, my wife likes the medium sized breeds, she worked at the largest Border Collie Rescue in the country that was located about 15 miles from our house for a number of years until they moved the operation to the Carolina's. She kept bringing them home except for the Aussie on the right. Last edited by A1A; 08-14-2021 at 08:10 AM. |

I love Newfies (especially Landseers) but couldn't ever feel right about subjecting one to the relatively hot weather here. Every one I've ever met has been a delight. |

Thanks guys, I really apprceciate that. Usually takes me at least a year to even begin considering looking for my next Newf dating back to my first in 1990. Zack (in the photo) I nicknamed "RockStar" because everywhere we went people just had to walk up and visit him, I think because brown and whites are pretty rare. Plus 155 pound dogs garner attention anyway. But I never worried about strangers coming up to him because as with all Newfs, he just loved people. And kids most of all. I've never met a mean Newf in my life.
