Serotta seat tube/front derailleur question

Pop quiz, hotshots:
I just ordered a new gruppo for my 1991 Serotta Phinney
(https://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=186292)

I need a front derailleur clamp for it (for mounting a braze-on front derailleur); I'm not at home, so I don't have my calipers on me; and I'm in a hurry (don't ask), so I want to go ahead and order the adapter I need to have it ready to go.

Anyone know what size clamp I will need?

And I know they are all just inexpensive aluminum machined things, but anyone use something like this that they like?

Thanks! My knees will thank you....

I'd bet it's a 28.6mm. I use 32mm Campagnolo clamps on all my steel bikes that don't have braze ons and 28.6mm seat tubes. I use Shimano (gasp) plastic shims from 28.6mm to 32mm that way I don't scar the paint from clamping.

If it is indeed 28.6, this is what you want.

This is the way to go, because everyone knows that Campy-heads like myself will go to any length, pay any price, and make needless adaptations to feature Campy-branded parts!

Thanks, all!

No lie -- I just replaced my Campy clamp with one on my Peg. Elegant, simple design and extremely good-looking (thanks @KarlC).
