been a paying member for over 2 years. My lone vote does not count for much. I just looked and I don't think there was a single 700x32 road tire and only one 700x30 to vote on.

That's because 32mm road tires are grouped in the gravel/cx section where there are a fair number of them. They don't have many 30mm tires tested because to be fair - for most of the time that site has been up - 28mm has been the road standard and 32mm up has been gravel/cx. And from the few tires that have been tested in virtually every size - it really only takes testing one or two of them at any size to have a pretty good idea of what its characteristics will be at every size.

I see a bunch of 30, 32, 33mm on the latest vote list -- way down the list though. After the width comparison article (Conti gp5k STR 28/30/32), I've presumed the BRR drum test only measures hysteresis thermal losses, not suspension losses.

your list must be different than mine. All the 30/32's are cx/gravel. can you name a couple of the 700x32 road tires so I can see if they are on my list? maybe there is a second page I am not showing for some reason. thanks

In the current vote list I see 5 road tires 30-35mm in the top 25 or so.

I agree there should be a way to look at all the data in a single table though, and perhaps a re-classification, but it generally works fine now understanding that. |
