The green Pave tires won’t be staying...though they look better than I expected.

And I need to dial in saddle setback a bit since this is my first time trying a Cambium.
That looks super awesome. After a half-hearted fling with silver (never changed the headset), I decided my Rock Lobster needs to have a black cockpit. That post and stem look nice - which Deda model are they? No problems with the tall saddle rails?

Thanks. The picture doesn't really capture the blue bands on the frame/fork that match the headset spacers - probably my favorite aspect of it..

The post is a Deda Superzero in Polish on Black. And the stem is a Deda Trentacinque Elementi in the same. 25mm setback on the post. 130mm stem.

It seems like the rails are supported well, so I'm not expecting issues, but we'll see when I get it out for a ride!

DT and rear brake cable routing has been easy, just gotta poke the rear derailleur cable though and I’ll be off n’ running...

Will be SR11 (except R11 shifters), Superleggera finish kit, Flite Kit Carbonio, Shamal Ultras, Challenge SB 27s or Vittoria Cora’s G+, Elite red/white cages, and SuperCaz red lower, black upper tape.

Overhauling my 1989 Cannondale ST600 - it's not been an easy build. issues with the old headset which has been replaced - issue with the BB which has been replaced - issues with the rear hub cones and cups which is still not resolved. The original rims are 27" which severely limits tire choices. I may be able to save the rear hub, but no guarantee.

When it's all said and done, there will be new dual-pivot brake calipers and new TRP RRL levers. 700c rims laced to NOS hubs, 35mm Compass tires, and a new Selle Anatomica saddle.

Should be a very nice ride when I finally get this all together.

I built this manual machine a few days go to try and learn manuals. There's a ton of YouTube videos showing various versions. My little modification was to make one that could be more easily stored. The stabilizer cross-bar piece can be removed by pulling out wooden dowels.

DK Onesto......,

Started my DK Onesto last Sunday. I didn't snap any pics but will get some up soon. I've had this frameset for about 2 years now and just haven't been in the right mood to get it put together with estate settlements and surgeries.

Anyway I did get the Colnago Ottanta5 completed that was shown earlier in this thread and have taken it out for two shakedown rides.

you don't want cable disc, trust me. I just put R685 on my elephant and has taken the bike to another level (at least in terms of braking), also put r8000 RD and very happy with the shifting.

That looks like great fun! A very nice, balanced build. What handlebars are you using?

OK, I had no idea what a manual was let alone how it was related to cycling so I Googled it. Thanks for the Tuesday morning education.

I never fail to be amazed and impressed by all the Campy enthusiasts who have congregated in this corner of the internets. I feel like I've found my tribe.

Missed this thread the first time around. The post below got me right in the solar plexus with a powerful mix of emotions: envy, longing, admiration...
