I am search of some replacement screws for campy rear ders. All of mine have rusted in the Florida humity. I know it isnt that bad but the rusty look just doesnt go with my super record kit. I am not looking to save weight but does anyone know a source of Al or ti screws that will work reliably for a while?

Any help would be appreciated

If you want original i have no idea. If you want functional first and foremost then I'd go to a good hardware store and find some stainless bolts and you should be in business. Ace hardware here in Bozeman has a very good selection of stainless metric hardware and I'm guessing all Ace shops do.

You could also go to you LBS and did through their coffee can full of derailleurs and scavenge some. I think both campy and shimano use the same thread.

Good luck,

dave

If you're very particular about the screws i.e., the head shape and material, but it's okay if they're not Campy (and why not since Campy screws aren't holding up for you), try McMaster-Carr.com. They have EVERYTHING.

Loose screws third hand have Shimano screws. http://www.loosescrews.com/index.cgi?c=Derailleur&sc=Limit%20Screws&id=837969223820 Do some research to see if they will fit.

I've been using these bolts on my Record rear derailleur for more than 3 years without any issue. Ti bolts stay rust free forever and making adjustment using an allan key is easier than a flat screw driver.
