the washington redskins scooped you...
...this is a little known fact...
the weekend before the presidential election...
the redskins win, the incumbent wins
the redskins lose, the inclumbent loses...
...unless red sox nation wins the big party...
then the incumbent stays in office
and the incumbents father wins four years later.
...so, the way i see it...
because the red sox won the world series...
...we'll have 8 more years of bush...
especially since they clinched in st. louis!!
...remember you heard it here first!

Look again,
The Redskins lost. If the trend holds, Kerry wins

Redskins suffer from Pack attack

By Dan Di Sciullo, NFL Analyst

(Sports Network) - The Washington Redskins fell further out of the playoff picture this Sunday, as they were handed a 28-14 loss by the Green Bay Packers.

The Redskins were unable to stop Ahman Green, who accounted for 143 yards from scrimmage and ran for two touchdowns to lead Green Bay at FedEx Field.

"Many people had their eyes on this Sunday's game between the Redskins and Packers for reasons entirely outside the realm of football. Washington's performance in its final home game before the Presidential election has been an accurate predictor of the outcome of the race. Since 1936, when the Redskins lose, the incumbent party has failed to win re-election. When they win, the incumbent party is victorious. Just something to think about on Tuesday."

unfortunately,
they weren't aware
that the rule doesn't hold true
if the red sox win the world series...
...after all,
didn't the redskins come from boston??
pretty ironic that the red sox victory
would come back to bite kerry
since that's his own backyard!!
