You do have to wonder what the pucker factor is with a Polar bear chasing your arse around a couple parked vehicles.

I wonder if that surveyor uses Cartesian or Polar coordinates. :p

I live in Alaska and the bears are a real problem this year. People are getting mauled or chased by Grizzlies at a record rate this year in the Anchorage area. I just moved here last January and its the only place I've ever lived where I am afraid to go into the woods. There are some minor roads that I avoid in the mornings because of bears. The scenery is spectacular, but I'm not sure how long great views can sustain us through long winters, record-setting cold summers, high cost of living, threats of bear attacks (the Grizzly taking the moose-calf that was caught on video a few weeks ago was less than 1/2 mile up the street from me), and so-so road cycling.

I've seen some films of Polar Bears going after a tour bus.
These are highly aggressive animals.

OK....

So how many laps did the guy snapping pictures wait till he yelled and tried to help the guy about to be eaten??

Or was this one of those "I don't have to outrun the bear, I just have to out run you" kinda things?

And is this not the best sales pitch ever for "keyless entry"?
