I have an opportunity to purchase a 1996 (possibly 1995) 57cm Colorado CR. Dark blue to light blue fade paint.

The bike has Shimano 600 8 speed components and hasn't been ridden for almost 11 years.

Is $875 to $900 a "fair" price? I realize that is a loaded question, but I have limited experience with Serotta bikes. I do know they are cherished and high quality.

I attached a photo of the actual frame.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I would say 500-600 would be a fair price....just the opinion of one.

In fact I have a CR RED with white and Dura Ace 9 speed complete, except for Ultegra wheels.

It is in perfect shape no dents, scratches etx,,,,

Not trying to steal someone else's sale but I would let mine go for less than that.

Last year I paid $500 for a similar vintage Serotta TG. It, too, was built with Shimano Ultegra / 600 components and Mavic Open 4 CD, 32 hole wheels.

Thank you for the replies. That helps my decision process out a lot. I'll probably pass on this Serotta.
