BMX Bikes!

I have always loved the look of a good BMX bike.

This is my 11 y/o Haro Blammo. It's an absolute Battle wagon. He rides it to school daily so it has been laying on my deck all winter. Back brake is stiff and I can't seem to fix it but otherwise it keeps going. For the most part I ignore it. Lube the chain and wipe the bike down 2 or 3 times a year.

i just purchased a bike the same i had as a kid on ebay - an '82 redline proline. same color and everything.

man i loved that thing and couldn't resist purchasing it over again. will take delivery in a month or so. my neighbors may be amused...

My older boy had a Redline Proline (black and red). We used it as partial trade for his GT MTB. It was a great bike a super light compared to the Haro.

i've got a set of chatsworth motomag 2's that need a little TLC, if anybody has interest. great shape...true & all webbing intact, need stripping & rear coaster internals.

cast magnesium! ultralight (or not). no, not my bikes in the photos. it is me in the air though (or not).

I always wanted a Redline back in the day. Stu Thompson was the man. First time I saw a Redline Cyclocross bike it made me chuckle. There's a little BMX track right off one of the bike paths here. I always toy with the idea of getting a cruiser and taking some jumps.

I have a pre-Redline Redline. Does that count? Back in the 70's before the Redline name came to be, the same Japanese manufacturer, I believe it was Kawamura, built their first top of the line chromoly BMX frames. I got mine with the Nishiki name on it in Canada. A year or two later, the same identical frame was sold with the Redline name. I still have it today, my daughters both still ride it.
