I left my sweaty headband on my bike while it was locked outside for half and hour. When I got back, it was gone. ***? Who would steal a sweaty headband???:mad:
OK, for full disclosure, it was a RAPHA headband, but still, i wouldn't touch another person's sweaty, stinking, headband!

Don't leave anything on your bike in sf. I get empty smart water bottles stolen off my bike (presumably for the recycling $).

I stopped carrying normal sport top bottles because of constant theft.

Many years back I finished a hot humid charity ride century. Put the bike and jersey in the van and went to the shower trailer. Had my bibs taken while I was showering. Granted we had the local pro football team as a sponsor, and the shorts were cool looking. But still, salt stained sweaty bibs? :eek:

I once had someone steal all my dirty clothes out of a washing machine in the laundry room of an apartment I lived in over 30 years ago.

The power was out, but I put all the clothes in there anyway, dumped in some detergent too.

Next day when I came back it was gone.

Always wondered why someone would walk off with that nasty load...
