New: Favorite Wheels!!!!

Searched already and found a post from a little over a year ago. Today's "pros...fancy wheels" got me thinking.

What are some your favortie wheels you have ever had, or better yet, what would you put on your new sled if they were given to you?


I remember my first set of tubular wheels 2001 Mavic Heliums, and they were a huge weight reduction from the crappy Bontrager Select wheels I had at the time.

I felt like Pantani (before the coke) on climbs!


Would love to try a set of new fangled carbon climbing wheels like the Zipp 202's

I think they are like 1050grams for the set.

If I had the cash I would get either Lightweights or ADA wheels. No question.

The velocity rims/cane creek hub handbuilds that I bought from a fellow forumite. I like them because I've put several thousand miles on them and they have yet to give me any problems (knock on wood). I think that's probably a record for me. Oh, and they look cool, which is what is most important.
