Got one for Father's Day and it's a sweet bit of kit. Light weight, water resistant zippers, clear panel so you can see the phone screen (and I can manipulate buttons...YMMV), slots for license, credit card, cash...

...and on sale at REI (http://www.rei.com/product/839352/timbuk2-mission-cycling-wallet)

Maybe my old & non-smart LG phone is less delicate, so I don't bother putting it in a pouch. I'm not so excited about the Timbuktu's pouch leaving the cards and cash exposed, though. My license and cash can get awfully soggy in the back pocket, so I put them in little credit-card size ziplock bags (got them at Daiso, a Japanese discount store). Each bag lasts about 3 months, then I throw it away and pick out a new one from the pouch.

Algae Green?

Phycology-4-lyfe....although I would have called it dead cladophora green.

I just aim those away from my body.

anything in my rear pockets gets wet or at least moist from sweat and its worse in the winter if I have a jacket or vest over the jersey. this timbuktu would def not work for me.

I had similar issue with the soulrun products from joe. even the triple-ply still got wet inside because there really wasn't a 100% moisture barrier.

plastic bags should not be thrown away. many grocery stores, including safeway, now had plastic bag recycling bins in front of the stores.
