I think we might have a winner here—one that cuts to the very heart of what it means to be a Schleck! ; )

“I don't want to be named as the leader, because if I put in a disappointing performance, then everyone can afterwards complain that I was not good enough. "

The guy pulled out less than halfway through the Giro...and rides well in a tune up race...and is saying that he shouldn't be expected to maintain this kind of "form" through the tour.....cmon now:help:

The good Luxembourger is lulling everyone into a state complacency.

Pre-emptive sand baggery, how shameful

You should be realistic. I am already very lean and in great shape, I can not continue to maintain this level.

i understand that proper training involves rest periods and build ups, but what does this mean, he wants to get fat and slow?? haha.

right. A guy I know who speaks Italian gave me a great Italian phrase...something like , "my _____ hurts", not complimentary, and applies to the sisters really well.

he would have a breakfast consisting of rusty nails and broken glass.

he would throw his leg over an orange top tube, ride 8 hrs without a waterbottle. then home

next day repeat. when riding with others, he won. never an excuse given  well, mostly won - EVERYTHING'

it would be interesting to see my boss's face if i told him: "I had a good month in June, dont expect any good performance out of me in July"

Really inspiring dialogue from Frank. I know Jens has too much class to react publicly, but I wonder what he's saying to his wife about this? . . . "Shut up, Frank!" . . . ?

Dunno if any of you saw his attack yesterday, it was ok but lacked of power and desire, he did it just to see what was going on, no team with him either. I even though, too thin... he picked already, no races finished, this guy will suck in the TdF or he won't race it.

Levy has the excuse of his accident but he had no spark yesterday either. Valverde was doing great. Maybe levy can do something in 2 weeks, rest and wait for the best, dont see him super strong and the prove is that they couldn't get rid off of a non climber yesterday.

Well, who will be the GC guy for RS?? Kloden or Horner?
