Trying to choose between 3 Lambo colors for a new Steelman

Arancio Argos, Ithaca Verde, Blu Cepheus

Or of course there is White

What do you think, I'm a little concerned that the Orange or Green may become tiring in time.

that light blue will turn out nicely......that'd be my pick

Tough choice, they are all pretty sweet. Safe bet is blue.

The blue is nice, as is the green, but both are a bit too low-key for me. (Might be perfect you.) I would go with the orange. What about pics of the white? I could go for that, depending on the shade.

I think you can guess which way I would go....

Hey, my personal preference is red, the orange would do. The blue would be my second choice. And I hate, let me repeat that, I HATE GREEN. As in I cannot imagine having anything green I wouldn't pay to get changed.

Nothing wrong with green (other than I hate it). So what is your preference? All look good (other than that green).

Also, if there was a yellow available like that, I might even prefer it to red. Can you get yellow?

Brentwood Orange from Prismatic Powder. I still like mine after a full week.

Blue or Orange. If the green could be toned down a little I would like it too.

And of course white is always a safe bet. But if these were the only choices, I would probably chose blue first with Orange a very close second.

Nice looking frames by the way.

They are all winners in my book- but I love the orange or lighter blue.

Not a fan of the green - it reminds me of kermit the frog. I'd go with the blue or orange.

The green is more subtle than the photos, but still pretty bright. We do have an LE at paint right now being done in Enzo yellow. I think that will be super hot. My personal pick of the three is the orange. The pearl effect is deep and rich looking. One of the best oranges I have ever seen.

Brent,
What gives, I thought I'd read you were out of business? Glad to see you here.

Easy. Just buy all three and ride the color you feel deserves to be ridden that day. I'd go for blue IMHO. I don't like green bikes and I have an orange one so blue would fit.

Hi Mike. Thanks! There is a recent thread on this forum that helps explain the situation. I am currently back at the shop working full time+ There are a lot of folks out there with big hearts (and sound advice) that helped me make the decision to keep building frames.

All 3 are great. I'm not a fan of green, but that shade is nice. Given the right color bar tape and saddle, I don't think there is a bad choice among the 3.

1. Orange=just right
2. Blue= bit to light
3. Green= to bright for me

Of course it is your bike paint it to express your self and personality.
Have a great day.

I had a Steelman Stage Race that was a bit small for me and the color was a awesome metallic green. That bike felt so quick. One day ...
My choice is
1-orange
2-green (if the bike was the green pictured below, it would be my primary choice)
3-blue

Years ago, i bought a navy stage race second hand. Took it into brent and they happily took it in and repainted and decal'd the sucker for me. The price was cheap, but the service was wonderful - they probably spent more with the handling and paperwork than they charged me. I would go with white with a little pearl, just the way mine was. But that isn't an option, so i would go crazy with the brightest color out there.... Orange!

Somebody needs to tally up the responses, but my quick looks tells me that we're about evenly distributed over the three options. (unless we want to apply some additional weighting factor to Brent's response, because 1) he agrees with me, and 2) his name in on the DT.)

So, I think the ball is back in the OP's court...

I would prefer blue without the white panels which chop up the lines of the bikes ATMO.

I think the orange is going to win out. The green looks great, but maybe a little to loud for me.

Post your pictures of orange bikes

orange...if it's anything like my wifes eurocross, it's a killer.

Orange. Green may get old in time and for some reason that light blue doesn't work for me although it generally does? Would like to see white up against the Orange.

Good luck. What kind of steel?

blue - timeless

orange - progressive

green - nah

I am NOT a blue or orange person...but of the two, IMHO the long term choice is that blue.
