While the process was a bit painful, multiple delays, I must admit I am extremely happy w/the outcome and cannot wait till I get her built and on the road. Congrats Ben Serotta, you've done it again!

If you think it's great now, wait 'till you ride it! One of the very best frames made.

Beautiful too!

The new lugs look nice. So do the "etched" logo's on the CS and ST.
You are going to love the ride...mine is 8.5 throughout and it is really nice.
Nice you got the man to sign it. That's a great touch

Stunning! The blue-tinted carbon really pops in the sunlight. Time to start building it up!

Wow that is thing of modern beauty. Serotta needs pic like that on the website. Love the signature and date. Hammers home the point that the bike was man by craftsmen.

Congrats on your purchase, that is an amazing bike. Like Ben says about the Ottrot, ~~ "If you could only have one bike" (this would be it).

Can't wait for ride reports and build photos. Enjoy

first off - beautiful modern classic. love it.

2 - what are the build plans

3 - [here comes the stupid question of the night i suspect] What's that "gadget" under the headtube, above the fork with the hole in it ??

I'll assume to hold the fork in place till the HS is installed.

Looks like a cheap plastic reflector mount being used to prevent the headtube from damaging the top of the fork.

Love it all - the blue tint, Ben's signature, and the polished with matte decals (most I have seen are matte with polished). Congrats.

Lutherville Bikes took the photos, had it shipped there for the build. I am out of town and have yet to put my hands on her, tomorrow we will be formally introduced.

Some answers:
Building w/Campy SR 11 SPD w/Deda Seat Post, Stem, Bars, Chris King HS. Wheels by Topolino, True Black Clinchers.

Yes, the gadget at the bottom of the head tube is holding the fork in place.

Cable guides on the bottom bracket plus my guy, Eric, is a true mechanic. I highly doubt there will be any issues.

Luthervile Bike is a good shop...all of the mechanics there are top notch.

If I were to ever order an Ottrott, it would be absolutely IDENTICAL to yours. But maybe, just maybe, I would've gone with red outline lettering to match the Super Record-11's red highlights. But VERY well done. Jeff N.

yea good call on the red, I think it would have gone well too. have a SuperSix that is red on white, so w/that and wanting to keep the Ottrott looking stealth I opted to keep the color mix to a minimum

Give me a shout and we can go for a cold ride. It might not be a long ride, but so long as we conclude at the bar for a body warming whiskey, its all good.

That is stunning, all the more so since it looks to be my size. Congratulations.

If you want we can trade bikes until your weather improves, mine will take larger tires so you can ride it in snowy/wet conditions.
