That, and the SWEET fork, is why the 94's are better (and worth more money).

A local framebuilder can easily add eyelets although how well the touch up paint matches is a difficult question.

I think 1993 was very good year for Bridgestone bicycle, the 1994 RB-1 showed a big decline in tube quality and fork quality and the beginning of the end for Bridgestone in some parts of the world.

I dont want one badly enough to do that, and generally think mod'ing frames kills value. I'll wait for the right sports tourer/eyelet roadie. A miyata 914 with eyelets would be perfect, and probably a better bike.
