Does anyone has a plug...?

Well,

My request is a weird one... So I wasn't sure where to post this message... Anyway, this is what I am looking for:

Serotta used to make a smaller diameter steerer tube plug for their carbon forks, but now they only seem to have the larger diameter plug (31.6 vs 33.5).

I need to get a couple of the old (I'd say 2003 and earlier) versions! The reason for this is that the stems I use (Stella Azzurra Mag) fit better with the older plugs.

If you have any of the old plugs, I would be willing to buy them from you or trade them for the new, slightly larger ones I have.

Please send me a PM if you can help.... Thanks!

Russ . . .

Have you checked directly with Serotta? And do you absolutely, positively HAVE to have one that says Serotta on it? Have you measured those from other manufacturers?

Hmmm, the new one says 1972 on it - is there no truth in advertising???

As for the problem, nothing a few minutes with a lathe can't fix...

Yeap! The Reynolds plugs are as big as the new Serottas, some even bigger...
