JTEK Shiftmate question

Has anyone had experiences with JTEK Shiftmate?

Does it shift well with Shimano 10 speed wheel with Campy 10 speed drivetrain long cage with 29 cassette?

Once the shiftmate is installed, does that mean I will not be able to use campy wheel/cassette on the setup? Only shimano?

Or does it work better using .3mm spacers?

Thanks in advanced.

I have a Shiftmate running Campy 10 shifters and derailleur and Shimano 10sp wheel. It shifts well, but maybe only 95% of an all-Campy system. This is running short-cage derailleur and big sprocket of 25, though.

Yes, once installed, you are limited to running a Shimano wheel. It will undershift a Campy wheel.

Don't know on the 3mm spacer route; I have an AmClassic cassette on the wheel now and I find the AmClassic vs Shiftmate a draw. I mostly got rid of the Shiftmate because I found it aesthetically lacking. I am shallow.
