Silver Record Hubs laced to Mavic OPs - SOLD

I can take photos later, but the essence is 10sp silver record hubs, BEAUTIFUL, shiney condition...laced to very true Mavic Open Pros. GORGEOUS wheel set. Not sure on spoke brand, but they are DB. Wheels come with wheel bags and Michelin race pro clinchers...forget the exact tire name. They have some life left and hold air. I can get detailed info when home tonight, but wanted to float these out there.

I really don't have a good sense of value on these, I paid quite a bit for them but don't know the market.

Is $500 and shipping reasonable?

Bearings are smooth and true.

I asked No problem with input.

I know when I tried buying them, the hubs were always over $400 alone. I also know these have almost no wear, a 10sp record cassette and bags.

Yes but new... 225 for a used set of hubs is ok if are in good condition but for example another guy is selling a pair of new fulcrum zero tubular for 650.

500 even when new could have been too much in my opinion. Not the price police but doubt you will sell them for 500 bucks, neither for 400 at least here in the forums.

Always you can go ebay, or ebay the hubs there. Sure will sell fine.

I have this exact wheelset, DT DB spokes, with skinwall Veloflex paves. With a light true, and a bearing service now and then, they'll last forever. And look good doing it. Price seems about what I paid, just the skewers are fetching $100-ish. Market shall dictate.

I'll give ebay a shot if no one is interested. I truly don't know the market for these well...but I know when I tried buying USED, they were outrageous and there weren't many to be had. I just checked ebay and there were none on there.

If memory serves, the USED hubs were going for $400+

Thanks...I thought I was about right, but I truly don't know for sure. As you say...if someone wants to make an offer, great...otherwise, I'll toss em' on ebay and offer a discount for Serotta guys.

I should have been specific...these do have skewers.

No problem...not upset. I solicited opinions.

If I was certain, I would have been more firm. I'm not

I honestly don't remember the ratio and spoke count, though I THINK they were 32. I can check when I get home.

The seller claimed under 400 miles, but I can;t swear to it. I can say the wear looks VERY light.

Cassette, $100
Bags, $40
Skewers, $100
Average of $240, already, and that's not including the wheels.
