Help with pricing Tesch S-22 54cm

Hello everyone. Just wondering if anyone can help me put a value on a Tesch frame and fork that I picked up a couple of months ago. I plan on posting it here shortly. I bought it mainly because of the mint Campy Delta group which I have a plan for and really no need for the Tesch S-22 Built for Speed. Its in really nice shape but I'm having trouble finding any info on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

Here are a couple of links with information on the bikes:

As for value, it's tough to put an exact number on them (due to so few of them changing hands). However, a nice original S-22 with complete DA7400 was listed here recently for $750.

Also, I think Bigman picked up a nice S-22 last year. It may be worth sending him a PM to see what his thoughts are.

I sold my track one frame for 650 bucks at ebay 4 years ago maybe. But mine was kind'a special because was custom built for Steve Hegg and had maybe 2 paint scratches.

As a matter of comment, probably the group worth more than the frame if you are thinking close to a 3 zero's digits. Tesch's bikes are good and hard to find bikes but doubt will go over 500 in today's market, 250 to 450 for a frame in my opinion.

Good luck with the sale.

That seems like a reasonable price. I sure wish it was a 56 or 57....

Good luck with the sale and please post pics when you can.

Tesch's are an anomaly - fairly rare excellent bikes that have little resale value.

price range

Agree on the price range.
100 models go for more
or if there is a great proven story behind the frame.
Condition also matters.
I would say 450 is very fair in good to excellent condition. Anything less is a great price. I would not sell for less the 350, but pictures say it all.

I have a 101 and a S-22. Both red.
