If you want to get a lot of detail, you can pm me..

But Bora Bora was fantastic, as were several other islands, which, if you go, you'll want to see more than Bora Bora.. We did 10 nights in French Polynesia for our honeymoon 5 years ago and it was great. Tahiti (which you have to stay a night on the way in), Rangiroa 3 nights (google Kia Ora Sauvage), Bora Bora 4 nights, and then 2 nights on Tahaa.

Perfect for a 25th wedding anniversary. Congrats.

Why to go such an easily accessible, crowded place like Tahiti, when you can go to Tristan da Cunha instead?

i agree with mcqueen. my wife and i did 9 nights there a few years ago (Bora Bora and Moorea) & there are very few places like it. wish we did tahaa instead of moorea, though. if you do BB, splurge for overwater bungalow - it is literally like being in an aquarium 24/7.

they've added a few hotels there since we left (like the 4 seasons) so the flavor and crowds may have changed a bit.

i've traveled extensively all over the world, and BB is still one of my top favorites. pm me for more info, if you'd like.

go

You won't regret it. In Bora Bora we stayed at the Westin in a bungalow over the lagoon (highly recomended). Hard to beat. Very hard to beat. Expensive.

This thread had me googling Bora Bora. It's summer time where I am, hot and humid but I would rather be in Bora Bora.
