WTB- Mavic Mektronic

Yo-

Does anyone have a Mavic Mektronic group they want to part with or know where I might get one?

I have Mavic Zap and periodically check ebay for this and Mektronic parts. Every once in a while a kit shows up.

Additionally, someone in the UK repairs Zap and Mektronic components and might be a source for refurbished parts. They provide some helpful tech hints as well. I don't have the url handy, but when I find it I'll pass it on.

Brooks update

It took about 2 months to receive the bike.

I've taken the Parlee out a few time since my last post. LOVE the bike. The saddle's another story. I'm trying to be patient. I've done the Proofhide applications and worked on saddle position while on rides to find the right fit. Unfortunately, so far I can't think of a more uncomfortable saddle. I'm going to give it some time but my Arione never felt like this, even out of the box. We shall see...

David, here's a link I found.

http://www.truetype.demon.co.uk/maviczap.htm

Not sure if this fellow is the same one I came across two years ago or if they have any details on Mektronic systems.

Good luck and here's to hoping Campy will release their electronic shifters.
