DT 240 Freehub question

Is it possible to change a DT 240 freehub from Campy to Shimano? If so what does it entail?
Thanks,
duke

Yes indeed...DT-Swiss Freehubs/Freehub Conversion Kits and here's DT Swiss's website for their hub conversion kits.

Which is as I understand, this is one of the minor disadvantages of this hubset compared to an Shimano hub since the Shimano hub builds a wheel that has slightly less dish.

or an advantage if you want to share wheels between different drivetrains...

There's a little $15 endcap for the axle that also has to be replaced. When you get the freehub you get a 12-tooth lockring when you are buying a Campy one; if you want an 11-tooth lockring you have to buy it separately.

The actual replacement is trivial.

And don't expect 190s to work the same. They aren't interchangeable in the same way. There's a 10-speed only (Shimano 7800) and a 9/10-speed version.
