WTB - Campy Seatpost - Cond'n not important

Anyone have a spare? Busted, scratched and abused is fine.

I need a post with the more recent style head design (Record, Chorus, Centaur), just as long as it has a silver top cap (the female part of the treaded clamp assembly). That part is actually all I need, so the condition of the post is un-important (as is whether or not it is 1mm or .5 pitch at the "teeth"). I have a lovely Chorus Ti post but the heli-coil is missing...just looking for a new silver top cap to use. Heck, a post that's been broken or bent in half would be perfect.

Can you believe that a new top cap is actually $70?? At least you can get them, but geesh.... You can buy a new Centaur post for not too much more than that...

Obviously I'm looking for a cheaper way out of the problem.

Poppa,

If you find a post, I'll take the bottom half (cradle) of the clamp and split the cost with you. I've got a Record Ti with the bottom piece cracked.

thanks,
Taz

I also have one: a silver Centaur post with worn-down teeth. If someone needs it for parts let me know; it's just beautifying my parts box at this point.
