How do Special Ed shoes run size wise to Sidi?

i havent ridden a pair of sidis in a long time but the toe box is a little taller wider. ON the spec. the heel cup is a lot deeper and the sole is way stiffer than any of the non-carbon sidi soles.

I think they run pretty close, excepting the shape of the toe box as noted. I went from a 43.5 Sidi to a 44 Specialized when I switched to a higher volume insole.
